Unlike India …
Here when you cannot show capability is one sport called cricket for which you have side-trekked all others…you talk about the colors of the cake, cut by Tendulkar …rather then how the team needs to be revamped
Here when AIDS is the biggest threat to its future…and no one is really admitting its potentially disastrous impact on the population as that will bring no votes….you talk about Richard Gere kissing Shilpa Shetty in an awareness meet ….
Here you loose the bid to host Asian Games in 2014, to Korea, because there was no estimate provided/committed for the expenditure on training, equipment and other facilities for the participating nations… GROSS
Here when the most populated state goes for elections…based on caste and religion..; when children die of dog bites in the Indian Silicon Valley …; when a news channel office is ransacked by a group of religious fundamentalist…you talk about the abhi-aish wedding…
The point is that how long will we not take the problems head on its our country. Some primer of some developed country calling us the next super power is not good enough…when we know how many people are deprived, where we are loosing in administration, how the very basic infrastructure is missing across the country…even if the capital has great metro rail …
I believe we can start by looking at these issues and admitting the problem…rather then looking away…repeatedly

Look, what's happening! Dollar value is falling down...it's 41 now.This shows improvement in Rupee value. Do you know that some places in Hyderabad,india or expensive than NY and Bay Area,Calif? I see it improving alot especially when Indian Railways showed 20,000cr profit.
I blame media for creating a hype on indian cricket team when everyone knows how well we are performing for the past world cup.
I feel its not a good idea of blaming India sitting in USA.If we have to do anything then better be in india, do it and then blame.Blaming is easy than doing ourselves.Sorry, no offensive.Just an idea...

Cool priti...I can understand your concern.So you are in deputation!Thats cool...So enjoying your deputation? I took some pics from tulips.Did you go to tulips? But my feeling is...you can forget about indian cricket fully.look at the match fixings and the amount they put into it and believe me,i dont see even 3-4 people out of indian team who play for the country. Most of them play for themselves and to enjoy benefits being in indian team.If they have to change, then the team's selection process should change and the selectors should change.I see differences even in other team members like srilanka,australia but when it comes to atleast Worldcup we should be sincere for our country.So we should not praise too much if they win against Bermuda and totally crush them when they loose badly against srilanka.Its not the team's fault not the coach's.Its the fault in our team's selection process that we need to change.Sehwag not in form but taken into team.Not sure why agarkar is in team.these are few examples...Its my thought, no hard feelings though...
